Marsh Harbour, The Bahamas Coordinates

The commercial center of the lovely Abacos, Marsh Harbour is both a thru-port for the islands of the northern Bahamas and a destination of its own. There is a bustling downtown with all sorts of amenities, including cafes and bars, grocery and hardware stores, and boutiques. Marinas, hotels, and resorts, as well as an international airport make their home in Marsh Harbour. And the town boasts the only stop light in the Out Islands. Sailing, snorkeling, fishing, and just lounging on the beach are all favorite activities in and around Marsh Harbour. Hurricane Dorian devastated Marsh Harbour and the Abacos in early September of 2019. It was a category five storm, damaging much of the infrastructure and buildings in the town and surrounding region. But the area has bounced back and is welcoming visitors just like before.
