The Baths, Virgin Gorda, BVI Coordinates

Located on the southwest corner of Virgin Gorda, The Baths are a geologic wonder composed of massive granite boulders that create protected pools along the beachside. Some of the boulders are over 40 feet in any one direction, which makes for some incredible exploring, bouldering, and cliff diving.

Seven acres in extent, The Baths became a part of the BVI National Park Trust in 1990. The area also includes Devil’s Bay and Spring Bay, with their beautiful sand beaches. A series of steps and rope handrails help guide and protect visitors. But you need to be careful and keep aware of your surroundings, particularly on days when the northern swells come in winter.

At The Baths, there is a protected swimming beach, lockers, and bathrooms. There are also National Park Trust mooring buoys and a dinghy tie-up location. But if you have had enough hiking, swimming, exploring, and sun-bathing, there is a bar, appropriately called Top of The Baths, with an incredible view at the summit overlooking the area. From the top, you can have a drink and stare right down the Sir Francis Drake Channel with Tortola to the north; the islands of Fallen Jersusalem, Ginger, Cooper, Salt, and Peter to the south; and St. John waiting at the western end.

With the enchanting rock boulders, pristine sheltered pools, beautiful beaches, and magnificent view from the bar at the top, The Baths is a special place. The coordinates on this t-shirt design will make sure you never forget your way back to this BVI treasure. Get one today for your whole crew!
